The Bare Gun’s wild popcorn bucket is an ingenious throwback gag to one of many unique film’s raciest jokes

The Bare Gun reboot is actually paying its share of homage to the unique movie, as new star Liam Neeson prepares to take over the reins as Frank Drebin Jr. following within the footsteps of Leslie Nielsen’s unique Frank Drebin – and Regal’s hilariously crass new collector’s version popcorn bucket for the reboot follows that custom by calling again to one of many unique film’s raciest gags.

If you have not seen the unique 1988 movie The Bare Gun: From the Information of Police Squad, the movie’s surrealist, gag-based humor is completely encapsulated within the new bucket, which, as you’ll be able to see, is a giant plastic beaver stuffed with popcorn emblazoned with Frank Drebin’s immortal line, “Good beaver.”
