Insomniac Video games founder Ted Worth will be a part of the AIAS Corridor of Fame


Earlier than he retires from Insomniac Video games, founder and CEO Ted Worth can be inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences’ (AIAS) Corridor of Fame.

Worth can be honored throughout February’s DICE Awards in recognition for his lengthy tenure on the PlayStation studio. In its announcement, Academy president Meggan Scavio deemed him “a visionary and steadfast chief. Ted has left an indelible mark on our trade, and his legacy encompasses a portfolio of beloved and critically acclaimed video games, a studio that holds him within the highest regard, and a profound affect on the Academy itself.”

Earlier this week, Worth revealed he’ll depart Insomniac and the bigger sport trade in March. After his departure, Insomniac can be led by longtime staff Ryan Scheider, Jen Huang, and Chad Dezern.

Schneider will current the award to Worth, and described him to the Academy as “a Corridor of Fame sport improvement chief and a good higher human.
