Beforehand set to launch for PS5 on the fifth February 2026, Deus Ex Remastered has been hit with an indefinite delay, with the information coming instantly from writer and developer Aspyr.
Introduced again in September throughout a State of Play broadcast, the revival was showcased through a quick gameplay trailer, which highlighted an apparent graphical overhaul.
The issue was that many followers of the unique Deus Ex — a stone chilly cyberpunk basic — instantly raised considerations over the change in artwork model.
Some argued that the remaster had stripped the title of its trademark ambiance, whereas others merely deemed the brand new look to be shockingly ugly, and in some instances, a graphical downgrade on a decades-old title.
Aspyr was listening to all of this suggestions, at the very least.
“We have listened to what you mentioned, and with a view to higher meet fan expectations and ship the absolute best expertise for gamers, Deus Ex Remastered will not launch on Feb. 5, 2026,” says its social media publish.
Once more, no new date has been given — and so full refunds will probably be issued to those that have pre-ordered.
It sounds like Aspyr will probably be going again to the drafting board with this one, because the assertion concludes: “We look ahead to sharing extra updates with you when the time comes.”
