Bloober dev says Cronos: The New Daybreak is a “deal with” with Resident Evil-style motion and, screw it, cats because the crew strikes previous Silent Hill 2: “No extra James Sunderland, working across the place along with his picket plank”

After the success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Group is embracing the liberty of making a recreation from entire material and treating itself with Resident Evil-like motion horror, Polish influences, and cats in its new sci-fi horror recreation Cronos: The New Daybreak. Hell yeah.

Bloober Group has been candid about its intent to make Cronos: The New Daybreak lean into motion horror versus the sluggish, creeping psychological horror that defines Silent Hill 2. Cronos co-director Wojciech Piejko instructed GamesRadar+ in April that the sport “is extra Resident Evil-ish” than Silent Hill-ish, regardless of its “deep psychological story.”
